Looking as Waste in terms of an organizational waste, we need to understand the resources of the organization that can be wasted. This can include Time, Money, Raw Material, Consumable, Services, Utilities and Finished Products.

This leads into what is Organization Waste Management. This is the process and manner of disposing of waste of an organization

Extract from the definition of Waste from Merriam-Webster:

(A) Damaged, defective, or superfluous material produced by a manufacturing process: such as

  • material rejected during a textile manufacturing process and used usually for wiping away dirt and oil cotton waste
