Production Management
The Production Management solutions covers all aspects of manufacturing, assemble and WIP production covering Forecasting, Planning, Execution and Performance.
|
From Monthly and Weekly Forecasting to Generation of Production Batches based on a Weekly Plan to processing the Executing the Batches, The printing of Transport Container Labels (e.g. Pallet Labels) for serializing the Transport Containers (Pallets) built. Integrating SPC Samples for Lab Sampling/Testing/Grading. Built in Julian Dates and Manufacturing info for Traceability Management and Product Recalls. The performance management module (DuQuars MIS) provides the capability for tracking and viewing trending the performance related information like; Downtimes, Timing, Waste, Labour, WIP, Outputs and Key Indicators like Availability, Utilization, Efficiency, Effectiveness, % Waste, OE and OEE.

Batch Execution
Production Management

|
Batch Execution Management provides the mechanisms to handle the various types of production batches that are manufactured or assembled on a production line according to a set plan. The batches are executed according to the pre-defined BOM (Bill of Material) of the selected inventory item that is being made. This allows for the tracking of the components that will be used (consumed) in the process, as well as the products that are made (Outputs). The outputs can be barcoded against a Transport Container (pallet, dolly, cage, etc.) for traceability purposes. Integration into the Lab Management System to handle the Batch Samples for quality purposes is supported.
Creating of Batches based on Planned Inventory Item, BOM, Quantity, Production Line and Shift.

Production Scheduling
Production Management
A plan is created for the week in Ardent X. the plan is agreed by the team. Ardnt X then schedules the plan into daily chunks. The system automatically creates the necessary batches accordingly.
|
Production Scheduling is the organizations way of breaking down the combination of the sales forecast, current Stock-on-Hand (SoH), and Production Constraints/Limitations/Restrictions to produce a statement on a Weekly basis of what the production floor needs to produce. This statement includes the Days, Shifts, Production Lines, Inventory Items, and Planned Quantities that will be used to generate the Production Batches. The weekly plans can be part of a larger Monthly Plan and can be integrated into the finance sales forecast. During the execution of a schedule (i.e. the week in which the scheduled plan is actually executed), any changes made to the plan can be tracked using the Request Change to Plan mechanism.

Performance Management
Production Management

|
Production Performance Management is the mechanism in which an organization tracks the production from a statistical point of view. This includes all the relevant KPA’s (Key-Performance Area’s) and KPI’s (Key-Performance Indicators), including efficiency, effectiveness, availability, utilization, productivity, % good product, % waste, total output, inputs, downtimes, labour used, and absenteeism. The system also covers the more advanced indicators such as, OE (Operational Effectiveness), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), MPS (Master Production Schedule) and K/Mh (Kilograms per Man-hour). Comparative analysis of indicators against set standards and targets is also provided. Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly trending information and graphs is available. Daily Operating Report as well as Weekly-based operating reports are built in. Monthly Overall Performance reports are also available.
